WDSF Professional Division Open DanceSport Championships 2013

APDC Member Thailand DanceSport Association (TDSA) will be held the TDSA / WDSF Professional Division Open DanceSport Championships 2013 on 27th & 28th April 2013 in Bangkok Thailand.

It would be most appreciated that all APDC Members to support and sending professional competitors to participate the WDSF PD events. The organiser will provide 3 nights free hotel accommodation and below cash prizes for WDSF PD Open Latin/Standard.

Champion: US$ 2000 1st Runner-Up: US$ 1,500 2nd Runner-Up: US$ 1,000

4th Placing: US$ 700 5th Placing: US$ 500 6th Placing: US$ 300

WDSF Professional Division Annual General Meeting 2013

All the APDC Members please take noted the WDSF Professional Division Annual General Meeting will be held in Shanghai Marriott Hotel Luwan on 15^th June 2013.

CDSF and the local organizer will provide transportation from airport to hotel for delegates only arriving on 13, 14 June 2013 and departing on 17 June 2013.

2011 WDSF Professional Division World Cup Latin

APDC Member Philippines would be hosting the prestigious 2011 World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) Professional Division World Cup Latin on 15th December, 2011 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Manila, Philippines.

It would be most appreciated that all APDC Members to support and participate in this prestigious event hosted by the Professional Dance Sport Association of the Philippines (PDSAP)and the Dance Sport Council of the Philippines, Inc. (DSCPI). The closing date for entries is 29th October 2011.

The event will comprise of four (4) major competitions : The World Cup Professional Latin, The WDSF Open Professional Standard, the WDSF Open Latin and the WDSF Open Standard.

In a personal letter to WDSF President Carlos Freitag, the President of the International Olympic Committee congratulates DanceSport's world governing body on the decision taken at the 2011 General Meeting in Luxembourg.

Dr Jacques Rogge not only commends WDSF for the change of the federation's name but also makes the most positive assessments of the creation of the WDSF Professional Division and the efforts to introduce the new Judging System for DanceSport.
